We had a not so good experience with Ireland Contracting. The final job was okay, but getting there was not. The windows are beautiful.The finishing work the first time was not acceptable. Instead of the framing and window sill being one piece, they spaced them together and tried to hide the seam with caulk! The tape marks are still on the windows. Their “attention to detail” is questionable. I’m hoping this was just a fluke and not the way they usually do work. I will not recommend. I sent them a letter a few weeks ago. So far, no response.

BBB is completely useless and unhelpful. I filed a complaint against PNC because I cannot access my account/ funds. Jennifer M closed my complaint against BBB because, according to her, PNC telling me they will provide a resolution in writing by October 24 (almost 2 more months of waiting) is sufficient enough to mark the complaint as answered/ resolved. What a joke.

Of course they would side with the business with hundreds of complaints against it.

In May of 2024 I used ALL my Sons Moving and Storage of Pittsburgh, PA. TO move my belongings from Butler,PA. to Steelton, PA. paying over 1800.00. The move was scheduled, myself and my family packed all my own things, the only things they had to do was secure dresser drawers put my big screen tv in a box, and pack a truck. They said it would be an over nite job. I also planned to be at the location the next day. When they got to the location my sister was there to receive my things. She told me they just tossed the boxes on a pile and some of the boxes were ripped and damaged even the fragile marked boxes were tossed. My sister had to tape some back up.there were three individuals at my home in Butler and two at my sister's house. Before I left my home in Butler I gave each of the three a tip only to find they went thru all my things took what they wanted and from throwing the boxes broke three valuable things. When I called the company to report this they sent me a tiny form to my email expecting me to download it on a printer or computer instead of sending it like a professional in the mail. I had no access to do so. Someone called and said they were investigating the matter give them information on how to reach me all my sons had my information they knew how. After that I never heard a thing. I had 800.00 in damages that they never resolved.

I had called the Penn American water co, about a ridiculously high water bill. I found that the protection program I had on my water & sewage lines were costing more than my water usage.
I wanted to drop the coverage. I was told they couldn't do that, it isn't there company. I was given a
phone number to call, that number only gave a busy signal! After many trays I called the BBB. I explained my problem and the agent gave me another number, that answered right away. Protection plans discontinued. Thanks to the BBB.

When Cindy from the BBB called us at our business about a customer complaint we were excited to tell our side of the story. All of the things we did to take care of this customer, to avoid the need to file a report or leave a negative review. All the things we are lead to believe the BBB stands for. Much to my surprise, Our side will only be shared if we pay the BBB a fee. But the customer review will be added to there site at no charge. If I pay them they will suppress negative reviews and promote positive ones. That seems like extortion? certainly misleading about the nature of your "non profit" company. I hope that you unbiasedly post reviews and complaints to your website so as to not mislead any other hard working American small family owned and run company. Not the first time the BBB has been discriminatory against us. You Have my phone number if you would like to reach out and change my mind

The BBB is the best organization to work with when you have a problem with the company that will not reply. Once the BBB took control I heard back from the company within a week and was given a full refund. They are very professional and I wish to God I would’ve use them in the past, I will certainly use them in the future!! Great team if you have a company that will not help you with your problem. Once the company that I had a problem with finally contacted me after the BBB sent him a letter, well they couldn’t do enough for me full refund and sent me another face mask at no charge even though I told him I didn’t want it. Very satisfied with the BBB and the company that I had a problem with thanks to BBB!!!

I love that told them had a complaint about a company and I didn't have a computer to file the complaint and they sent me the paperwork a day later. Still waiting on this company to refund me some of my money they said if not I definitely letting the Better Business Bureau Service know about this company.

I had a terrible experience with a warranty company not wanting to pay what was owed, 14 emails countless phone calls with no joy , emailed my city counsel who allows them to use city letterhead for their advertising was no help. I finally contacted the BBB,I have never had to use them before but glad I did. They contacted this large corporation and cut through the red tape. The BBB gets results! My reimbursement check was received about 3 weeks after their involvement. Thanks so much for your help and protection of customer rights.
