Negative Review of BBB

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with BBB and their unethical practices. Our previous company, GR8LABOR, experienced relentless harassment from BBB through both phone calls and letters. They falsely claimed that we had their symbol on our website, despite the fact that we did not control the site and had no rights to it. After informing the website company to remove the symbol, BBB continued their aggressive tactics by threatening us with legal action, even after we clearly stated that we no longer wished to pursue their accreditation due to our belief that it is a scam.

BBB's grading system is fundamentally flawed and biased. They award an A+ rating if you comply with their demands but will issue an F if you do not. This arbitrary system renders their accreditation meaningless. Furthermore, BBB has devolved from its original purpose over the past 20 years. Now, clients can leave false reviews, and BBB seems to support those who favor certain businesses while discrediting others without justification. We have unfortunately witnessed both sides of this unfair practice.

In our experience, BBB does not provide genuine services for businesses and operates in a dishonest manner. We strongly advise against financially supporting BBB for advertising or any other services they claim to offer. Their continued harassment, even after we clarified our position regarding the ownership of the site, has caused significant inconvenience for us. They persistently called to inquire about the new owner, further demonstrating their lack of professionalism.

In conclusion, we recommend that potential clients steer clear of BBB. Their accreditation is not worth your time or resources, and engaging with them could lead to unnecessary complications and stress.

Review: We moved back from NC and my husbands employer had deducted Ohio taxes. Ryan, the owner advised us to file to get the money back. Obviously we took his recommendation. When the State of Ohio pushed back, Ryan dropped the ball and ignored our calls and emails. We ended up paying more to the State and lost the money that we paid him to file the amended returns as well. As the owner of the tax service we assumed he knew what he was talking about…no so

I contacted the BBB about a bad business that discriminated me for being gay and and then about being discriminated for my only fans page. These are obviously bad business ethics.
I gave a thumbs down because the rep didn't know what to do.

I have a complaint about echelon. I have been paying to use my echelon for months now but i could not get the sound to come work so i contacted them, they stated it was an issue with them that i needed a usb cord to download information on, they continued to say they were going to send me one. This went on for months and nothing. Me and my husband and daughter called them and they were rude. I also told them i should get a refund for paying all those months and not being able to use it. I payed a lot of money for it and barely got to use it.

I recently had the pleasure of having JandJ Plumbing and Heating do a repair for me, replacing an out door spigot. Jason was very professional and explained everything very thoroughly, offering me all the options. He really went the extra mile to make sure the job was done with the best parts and he even did some special mods to make sure my line was slightly pitched. He was outstanding. I would highly recommend this gentleman to anyone. It is good to know he is near by. Outstanding!

I am posting this review to save others from making the thousands dollars mistake I made when I went to have my brakes replaced on my Mini Cooper. Please, save yourself the pain of losing thousands and avoid this mechanic.

I have gone to Worthington Automotive since before Covid. During that time, I did basic maintenance such as oil changes. When my brakes needed repair, it seemed a good choice to take the car for these major repairs as well. I was told that they could be repaired.

I was made to sign off on work and parts which were left incomplete. The signing off (on each repair and parts purchase as well as the labor), created a legal paper trail which made it necessary to pay thousands and thousands of dollars even though the final parts were not found, nor the repair completed.

When the car was returned to me, it was not safe to drive at all. In the end this service, did not respond to me when I phoned to ask for a refund. The world became a little colder when our family’s trusted mechanic behaved with such dishonesty after our many years of patronage.

Please be careful of your pocketbook and steer clear of this business.
